Energy performance certificates - (EPC)

Coming soon!

We'll shortly be adding Domestic Energy performance certificates to the range of property services we are able to offer.

Who needs a EPC?

An EPC is required whenever a property is marketed for sale or rent or is newly built. The EPC is valid for 10 years or until a newer EPC is produced.

It is recommended that a EPC is available to potential buyers as soon as it is marketed for sale or rent.

What is an EPC?

An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is a legal document which provides an energy efficiency rating (displayed A-G) of a property’s running costs.

This will take into account the potential energy performance of the property itself (the fabric) and its services (heating, lighting, hot water etc).

How long does the assessment take?

Depending on the size or complexity of a property a typical energy assessment could take between 30 mins and 2 hours to complete.

Pricing.

A domestic energy assessment (EPC) - £85.00 (TBC)

For large or unusual properties we recommend contacting us to discuss your property so we can determine if a more specialised assessment is required.
